WHAT IS SOUL GAZING MEDIATION?

Soul gazing is something you’ve probably done naturally, when you’re in a conversation where eye contact is maintained, or when gazing into the eyes of a newborn baby or when you’re in love and holding a look.

The eyes are an incredible tool to build connection within ourselves and within another, for they are the “window to the soul.” When we gaze deeply into the eyes of another person, we can see beyond their physical form and personality and we can see into their essence. The practice of eye gazing is found in the Hindu, Buddhist, Sufi and Tantric traditions and is considered to be a path to enlightenment, for deep connection and understanding of the importance of seeing yourself within another is formed. 

We will dive into the practice weekly on Tuesday evenings.
 

WHAT Are the benefits?

You’ll experience a container where you feel deeply loved and safe, you’ll heighten your awareness and deepen your connection to self, while building your ability to be more present with an open heart and mind. You’ll feel connection and connected and work on building those feelings which will strengthen the relationship to yourself and to others.
 

WHAT IF I’VE NEVER MEDITATED BEFORE?

That’s great! Come and mediate with us! We’ll be sitting in a personal mediation for 10-15 minutes before we sit in our soul gazing mediation. You’ll be guided through both.
 

CAN I COME ALONE?

Yes! Of course! Come alone. Come with a friend, lover, family member. All ages and experience levels welcomed.
 

CAN I MOVE DURING MEDITATION?

If you need to adjust your body, of course. Staying for the duration of our practice is required, as it maintains the safe container for our group.
 

CAN I BOOK A PRIVATE SESSION WITH AMANDA?
